SKP - Red Rainbow is a community partner of Helsinki Pride also this year. As part of the official program of the week, we are organizing two public events on Tuesday, June 25th and Thursday, June 27th, which you can join either in person or remotely via Zoom. On Saturday, June 29th, we will participate in the parade starting from Senate Square with our own block, and in the park festival in Kaivopuisto, where the parade ends. Join in advocating for equality and socialism alongside communists and anti-capitalists!
Peace, own media and class - on Tuesday 25th June
In the open and free public debate about peace, class struggle and making your own media debating the board member of Satakunta’s Seta, member of the equality and communication team of Qaareva -LGBTQIA+ students Akira Siivonen, youtuber-activist Arvo Lehtomäki and the Chairperson of Communist Youth of Finland, sex worker Bex Tapanainen. The debate is facilitated by Journalist, Conceptual Artist JP (Juha-Pekka) Väisänen.

Rainbow Rights in Cuba - on Thursday 27th June
A debate about individual rights, peace and hope in Cuba, under the shadow of the US embargo that is crippling the economy, on Thursday 27th June at 17-19 o'clock.
In Cuba, the progressive family law has entered into force, which legalized same-sex marriages and granted the right to adopt to same-sex couples, married or cohabiting. At the same time, for example, non-profit surrogacy was legalized. What was the democratic process of the law like? We are also debating the situation in Cuba under the pressure of the illegal and cruel embargo, the principles and successes of socialism, and Cuban solidarity activities internationally.
The event will be held live (Viljatie 4 B 3. floor, 00700 Helsinki) and remotely via Zoom.
Pre-registration for the live event is not required. The office meeting room can accommodate about 20 people, but we can make separate arrangements if necessary.

Communists in the Helsinki Pride parade and tent at park festival - on Saturday 29th June
CPF - Red Rainbow will be participating in the Helsinki Pride parade as usual with its own bloc and a tent at the park festival in Kaivopuisto. Park festival at 13-20 o'clock. The parade starts from Senate Square and ends at Kaivopuisto. We invite all our comrades and those who think anti-capitalistically to march with our bloc! You can bring party and organization banners and your own signs.
We will gather at Alexander's Statue, Senate Square at 11:30 and soon move behind to the party blocs' truck, from the front view of the parade to behind one of the last trucks. The parade's front will start moving at 12:00. We will likely have to wait a considerable time for our bloc to start moving since we are in the end part of parade. Please be prepared for this.
